How to Download Pinterest Videos and Full-Size Images
To save a Pinterest video or image, copy the pin's link, paste it into the FastSaver Pinterest downloader, and hit download. How to download a Pinterest video or image
- Copy the pin link. In the Pinterest app, open the pin, tap the share icon and choose Copy link. That gives you a short pin.it URL, which works fine. On a computer, copy the address from the URL bar instead.
- Paste it into FastSaver. Open fastsaver.io and tap the paste button, or drop the link into the box yourself. It spots Pinterest links on its own.
- Hit download. A video pin saves as an MP4; an image pin saves as the full-size photo. Either way the file gets a proper name, not a random string of characters.
- Find the file. On iPhone, tap the download arrow in Safari, open the file in Files, then use the Share sheet and Save Video to move it into Photos. On Android and desktop it lands in your Downloads folder.

Why grid saves look blurry
Pinterest keeps several sizes of every image and serves small ones in the feed so it loads fast. Long-pressing a pin to save it, or screenshotting it, captures that thumbnail. It might be a few hundred pixels wide when the original upload is 1500 or more.
FastSaver pulls the original file instead, so zooming into a knitting chart or a tattoo reference doesn't turn it to mush. One limit: it can't invent pixels. If the pinner uploaded a small image in the first place, that's the ceiling. Rare with photography, more common with old re-shared graphics.
What won't work
Only public pins. Secret boards, private pins and deleted pins are out. Quick test: open the link in a private browser window, and if Pinterest asks you to log in before showing the pin, it can't be downloaded.
The link also has to point at one specific pin, not a board, a profile or a search page. Open the pin so it fills the screen, then copy from there. There's no MP3 option for Pinterest (that audio toggle exists for TikTok and YouTube), and no batch downloads, so saving a whole board means going one pin at a time.
